Since 1990, the Tree of Hope has collected toys and gifts which are distributed to Minnesota hospitals by the aviation community--EAA Chapters, the Minnesota Chapter of The Ninety-Nines (International Organization of Women Pilots), WAI, Zuhrah Flyers (Shriner's), flying clubs, and community volunteers.
We now have supporters, volunteers, and donors from business, churches, and the communities. We also expanded to provide toys to two Wisconsin hospitals, all Minnesota Ronald MacDonald Houses, and two Catholic Charities orphanages.
Children who are having surgery, chemotherapy, dialysis, transplants, are in burn units, etc., over the holidays are seriously ill and need our help. Other major toy collections do NOT give to hospitals, so we are trying to fill that need!
Toys and gifts are collected until December 1 for delivery to hospitals the first week of December, but we can accept toys and checks all year long.
Help us put a smile on the face of a child during a difficult time!
